Now that you already bought good supplies, you’re ready for the number two piece of bowling advice: taking aim. As you wait to roll, don’t shoot for your actual target, the pins. Line up using the arrows like a sling shot. Ever noticed them? It’s less difficult to hit a point that is nearer. To take full advantage, make sure you stand in the exact spot on the floor with every roll. With that consistency you can fine-tune your marksmanship.
As for hooks, to get specific action on the pins? It is the third-most essential bowler tip. It’s all in the pricy reactive ball. Might be surprising that professional bowlers carry several types of bowling balls to get heavy hooks, according to the type of game and lane. But greenhorns might want to keep it simple, and don’t get a ball that weighs a ton. Many pro bowlers travel with bowling balls with special resin expert grip.
