I’ve noticed that in all of my idle poker accounts, about 20-40 cents just sits there, absolutely useless. Once in a while there are 10 cent or 25 cent tournaments that help you make use of this marginal amount of money, but more often than not, there’s less than a dollar just rotting away in an account of mine. Some sites have micro-stake ring games, like .02/.04, which still require a minimum of 80 cents to buy in to. Others don’t let you buy in for less than a dollar. You can’t even transfer funds to another player in an amount less than $5 on most sites.
I think there should be no minimum at these stakes. There’s no real money at risk, so who cares if someone is only buying in with 5 big blinds? There’s probably a few thousand dollars dried up in vacant accounts that will never become useful. Maybe a tournament can be held collecting all of the spare change from unused accounts for the prize pool, so at least someone benefits from this wastefulness. Or maybe they can let you donate your change to some charity, or the poker player’s alliance or something.
On Poker Time, I think they even had 1 cent sit and go’s going around the clock. It can’t take much server space to have a few extra sit and go’s available, even if the site’s not making any money on them.

Melt the choco chips in a microwave-safe dish. Dip the rim of each of the Martini glasses in the melted chocolate. Add all of the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into the chocolate-rimmed Martini glasses. Top with a candy tarantula and serve.
